It's hard to watch people move on. It's almost harder to see them not. I have no idea where I fall in these two categories. Forgive me. I've been reading a lot of poetry for a stupid Literature final.
I wish I could say I was graduating this semester, but unfortunately I've got until December. Do I feel lesser for not graduating in the expected four years? In short, not really. To be honest, out of all my friends I would consider myself to be the least intelligent. I've always had trouble in school and tried to play it off as if it wasn't bothering me. The fact that I've gotten this far and stuck it out is beyond me. This degree isn't about what it'll get me later anymore. It's about what I've achieved.
Life hasn't been bad. Don't get me wrong. There's not a day that goes by that I wish I couldn't press reset, but I guess I'm not too upset that I can't. I still regret a lot of things, but I'm starting to learn to be grateful for what I have.
I guess I felt inclined to write something after seeing my friends page.

| Spring Break anyone? |
[26 Feb 2009|04:01pm] |
|
So I'm probably going to cross post this in my various web profiles, but does anyone have plans for Spring Break? My Spring Break falls on March 15 - 21. I was maybe thinking of hitting up SXSW this year to see if I can get a glimpse of Eugene Mirman. But if anyone wants to go camping or anything that involves leaving San Angelo for an extended period of time, please let me know. I'll plan my work schedule accordingly.

| So Happy New Years... |
[01 Jan 2009|06:25pm] |
Well, I got back from Seattle today and I am extremely beat. It was fun...why wouldn't it be? I was away from San Angelo for a week. Also, I have an extremely cute niece.
If you're looking for some sort of 2008 retrospective, you'll have to go to my blog later when I have the thinking capacity to think of four more lines of text. I will post my resolutions here sooner or later after I think of some, though.
Zero Punctuation is lovely!

| Music request... |
[30 Nov 2008|11:40am] |
|
So while I was sitting in church this morning, the music director's daughter (on the violin) and the director himself (on the clarinet) were playing some really nice music during communion. I thought to myself..."I haven't listened to Penguin Cafe Orchestra in a long while." Anyone willing to help with this situation?

| E3 |
[17 Jul 2008|01:44am] |
So I figured I'd make a list of games I'm looking forward to that were mentioned during E3:
Animal Crossing: City Folk (Wii) Silent Hill: Homecoming (360) Resident Evil 5 (360) Star Wars: Forced Unleashed (360) Project Origin (PC) Diablo III (PC) Doom 4 (PC) Spore (360) Fatal Frame IV (Wii) which I like to add Suda51 will be helping out with production Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers (Wii) Mad World (Wii)
I'm sure there's many more, but these are the ones that I can think of on the top of my head.
Nintendo lacked, this Cammie Dunaway was awkward to watch, Reggie didn't seem to have the kick in his step, and a lack of a Kid Icarus game was actually a bigger letdown then I expected. Animal Crossing was a great announcement, but I honestly was expecting something more explosive. I mean we already knew Animal Crossing was for sure for the Wii. There were more titles on the Wii that I was looking forward to that weren't even mentioned. Oh well. Wii Motion Plus? Seems like something that should already be on the Wii remote.
I haven't gotten around to watching the other conferences, but I have a feeling they're going to be a lot better.

Yesterday, I finally had Zookinis despite my disposition on zoo-like atmospheres...and it was pretty good. It wasn't zoo like at all. It was more like a safari. I had the Zoo Trip buffet.
What is Tweets? And why has it exploded on my friend's page?

| Sigh... |
[28 Apr 2008|02:56pm] |
So I bought Mario Kart Wii yesterday. I pulled it out today and it's alright. The last two "big releases" for the Wii have been kind of a bust for me. SSBB = eh... Mario Kart Wii = I suppose...
My DS on the other hand gets more play than I do. Has anyone picked up The World Ends With You for the DS? If you have...how is it? This is directed more towards CJ or Carey.
